Travelling: 30 countries on 5 continents
I am a traveler and not a tourist. In the words of Paul Theroux,
tourists don't know where they've been, travelers don't know where they're
going.
I travel for travel's sake - to see the world, the different cultures, the
people and the places; to gorge all the different foods (I am strictly
vegetarian!) and guzzle the wines (Every region of the world, people have
figured out how to get their alcohol!), to play dumb charades and Pictionary
with strangers and give candy to kids, to..., to reaffirm my faith in
Rabindranath Tagore's quote that "Men may be cruel, but Man is kind."
