National Instruments LabVIEW® Licensing

The Pennsylvania State University, College of Engineering, maintains a college-wide site license from National Instruments for LabVIEW®. This has been made possible through the generous support from the College's Dean’s Office and National Instruments. LabVIEW® is a unique graphical programming language with emphasis on data acquisition and process control. Electronic and Computer Services (ECS) is the technical contact point for LabVIEW® for the College of Engineering. The site license includes many more tools than simply the LabVIEW® program development environment. All these tools are free to any College of Engineering instructional or research group.

Penn State users outside the College of Engineering

A campus wide license exists (including commonwealth campuses) which is available through the Penn State Computer Store. It is not free, but it is available at a significantly reduced cost.
